About the Walk Leader
Jon has conducted the "Fall Color Walk" for the past few years and always seems to have some new information to share. The setting of the Botanic Garden is ideal for the content of the walk, which varies from year to year as the calendar and climate combine to alter the conditions discussed. Jon is a non-faculty staff employee of the WVU Biology Department. He manages the Core Arboretum, leading tours, locating and identifying plants, and occasionally helping faculty and students choose research sites. Over the years, he has done considerable writing and teaching on topics related to the Arboretum. Thanks, Jon.
