We are thrilled to announce a $2,500 Community Arts Grant to fund a series of visual arts programs that will enhance and diversify our educational programming. The Community Arts Grant is made possible by the City of Morgantown and Monongalia County Commission through a collaborative effort between Your Community Foundation and Arts Mon. As a result, the WVBG plans to offer art workshops in drawing, painting, photography, and programs targeted toward emergent artists and area youth through Summer
2019.

These programs will be offered in workshop format, with instructors and participants utilizing a variety of outdoor settings. Of the nearly 85 acres which comprise the WVBG, there is limitless artistic potential within the lush ornamental gardens and naturally distinct ecosystems of the Tibbs Run Preserve. The Education Center provides supplemental indoor space when needed.

Please be on the lookout for future Arts at the Garden workshops in our upcoming Activities Schedules. We look forward to the opportunities for community members and visitors to join in creation and celebration of the arts through a new enriching experience at the Garden!
