Led by professional interior designer and artist Shari Lynn Bennett, we will start with a quick slide show of custom pattern designs and patterns found in nature, then enjoy a short stroll through the Garden looking at examples of patterns found in nature for more inspiration. Shari Lynn will help you create your own artful repeating pattern using pencil, marker, or paint. Your finished design can then be scanned and printed (not part of workshop) on a variety of products! All materials included. Ages 14 and up. $25 for WVBG members, $35 for non-members.
All public programs at the Garden have been canceled through May 1. The Garden will remain open, we encourage you to visit and enjoy the fresh air as spring returns. Please note that our restrooms are closed at this time for public safety – please plan your visit to the Garden accordingly.
THIS EVENT HAS BEEN RESCHEDULED FOR SEPTEMBER 6, 2020.
* This workshop is part of our Arts in the Garden series, which is funded through a Community Arts Grant. The Community Arts Grant is made possible through a collaborative effort between YCF and Arts Mon, with funding from the Monongalia County Commission and the Douglas H. Tanner Memorial Fund for the Arts.
