Join Jim Rye to learn how to transplant and care for various Solanacea family seedlings (tomato, eggplant, and/or pepper) in an Earthbox “container garden” or other types of gardening containers or raised beds. Emphasis is on seedling varieties that produce smaller fruits (e.g., cherry-type tomatoes). Additional emphasis will be given to transplanting seedlings of Mexican sunflower (Tithonia rotundifolia) to garden areas and the benefits of doing so. Participants will take home at least 3 vegetable seedlings, a Tithonia seedling, and horticulture fleece to get started. Ages 14 and up. Space limited. $25 for WVBG members, $35 for non-members.

This class has reached capacity. Registrants will receive further instructions via email prior to the event.
